Sub: Preparation of a panel for
selection for posts of Superintendent on deputation in the Directorate General
of Valuation.
Sir/Madam,
It is proposed to draw a panel of suitable and eligible candidates for
filling up the posts of Superintendents in the pay scale of pay of Rs 9300-34800+4800 in the Directorate General
of Valuation, Mumbai. Pending
finalization of the Recruitment Rule, these posts will be filled on deputation
basis from amongst officers holding analogous post on regular basis in Customs
and Central Excise formations, Directorates or other attached offices under
Central Board of Excise and Customs.
1. The formation-wise disposition of the vacancies in the
grade of Superintendent in the
Directorate General of Valuation, for consideration for such selection is as
below :-

3. The officers selected for the posting in
the Directorate General of Valuation, would normally be appointed for a period
of three years, initially. The age of
the applicant shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of this
circular. Further, the selected officer
would not be entitled to any deputation allowance or special pay for the said
post. In case any decision on grant of
special pay or deputation allowance is taken in
future, he/she would be governed by such decision.
4. It is
requested that applications from the interested
eligible officers may be forwarded to this Directorate with their particulars
viz. name, educational qualification, date of birth, present post and the date
from which it is held and history of previous postings, along with their
confidential reports for last five years before 30th May, 2010. It
may also be certified that no vigilance/non vigilance case is pending or being
or being contemplated against any such officer.
5. This
letter any be widely circulated among the staff under your jurisdiction.
