Sub:    Preparation of panel for selection for the posts of Inspector on deputation  

 in the Directorate General of Valuation.

 

           

Sir/Madam,

 

            It is proposed to draw a panel of suitable and eligible candidates for the posts of Inspector in the scale of pay of Rs.6500-200-10500, in the Directorate General of Valuation, Mumbai & its zonal unit at New Delhi, and Kolkata. Pending finalisation of Recruitment Rules, these posts will be filled on deputation basis from officers of the rank of Inspectors in the pay scale of Rs.6500-200-10500 working in Customs, Central Excise, and Directorates under Central Board of Excise and Customs. 

2.       The formation-wise disposition of the vacancies in the grade of Inspector in the    

Directorate General of Valuation, for consideration for such selection is as below.

3.         Such officers selected for a posting in the Directorate General of Valuation would be initially appointed for a period of 3 years. Further, the selected officer would not be entitled to any deputation allowance or special pay for the said post. In case any decision on grant of special pay or deputation allowance is taken in future, he/she would be governed by such decision.

Sub: Preparation of a panel for selection for the post of Tax Assistant Group’C’, Ministerial, on deputation in the Directorate General of Valuation.

 

             Sir/Madam,

 

                It is proposed to draw a panel of suitable and eligible candidates for seven posts of Tax Assistant, in the scale of pay of Rs.4000-100-6000, to be filled up on deputation basis, in the Directorate General of Valuation, Mumbai and its zonal unit at New Delhi.

 

2.         As per the Recruitment Rules applicable to the said posts, following officers are eligible to be considered for such appointment on deputation basis-

 

i)                    employees with 2 years of regular service in the grade of Tax Assistant working in Central Excise, Customs and Directorates under Central     Board of Excise and Customs; or

ii)                   Lower Division Clerks with 7 years regular service working in Central Excise, Customs  and Directorates under Central Board of Excise and Customs

iii)                 In case of non-availability of (i) and (ii), any Central Government employee holding analogous posts in the pay scale of Rs.4000-6000.

Sub: - Preparation of a panel for selection for the posts of Stenographer Grade II & Grade III, Group ‘C’,Non Gazetted, Ministerial on deputation in the Directorate General of Valuation.

           

Sir/Madam,

            It is proposed to draw a panel of suitable and eligible candidates for three posts, each of Stenographer Grade-II in the scale of pay of Rs.5000-150-8000 and Stenographer Grade-III in the scale of pay of 4000-100-6000, in all six posts, to be filled up on deputation basis, in the Directorate General of Valuation, Mumbai & it’s zonal units at Delhi & Bangalore.

2.         As per the Recruitment Rules, applicable to the said post, following officers are eligible to be considered for such appointment on deputation basis-

For Stenographer Grade -II

i)                     Holding analogous post on regular basis; or

ii)                   With 5 years regular service in the scale of Rs.4000-100-6000 and possessing a speed of 100 words per minute in stenography (English or Hindi) and 40 words per minute in English type writing or 30 words per minute in Hindi typewriting.   

For Stenographer Grade –III

i)                       Employees of the Central Government holding analogous post on regular basis and possessing a speed of 80 words per minute in Stenography  (English or Hindi) and 30 words per minute in English typewriting or 25 words per minute in Hindi typewriting.

3.         The formation-wise disposition of the vacancies in the grade of stenographer grade –II/III in the Directorate General of Valuation, for consideration for such selection is as below.

4.         The period of deputation for the selected person, including the period in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation/department of the Central Government would ordinarily not exceed three years.  The deputation period, however, is extendable up to 5 years by Director General, Valuation.  The pay of the selected candidate will be regulated in accordance with the Ministry of Finance O.M.No.2/29/91.Estt (pay.II) dt,5th Jan,1994 as amended from time to time.
