PATCH  FOR  DATA  ENTRY  MODULE

Kind attention is invited towards the Data Entry Module CD sent to all Commissioners vide this Directorate's letter dated 12^th January, issued vide F. No. VAL/217/2001/Pt. III. The Data Entry module was developed for extraction of import data from non-ICES customs stations where import assessments are taking place.

Certain customs stations have reported that after installing the data entry module, when bill of entry particulars are keyed in, "total duty" field does not accept zero digit. To overcome this problem, please download a file DataEntry.zip. Upon unzipping, you would get a file called DataEntry.exe. This file needs to be substituted for the "dataentry.exe" file that is present in c:\dataentry and thereafter the application would work fine. Please note that the old "DataEntry.exe" file must be first deleted from the "dataentry" folder in C drive and then new "DataEntry.exe" file must be copied in the correct place i.e. "dataentry" folder in C Drive.
